Scent detection has long been used around the world for both working and operational services. Whether being used at an airport or to sniff out bombs, dogs’ noses are amazing.
Dogs can smell up to 100,000 better than humans and can smell separately with each nostril.
On this course your dog will learn how to use their nose effectively, processing scent and finding the trained/target scent in many different situations.
Your pet dog will learn how to identify the target scent when it is hidden in bags, pipes, hidden on chairs and vehicles.
There will also be some novel search areas to really test both you and your dog.
