General Terms and Conditions
By booking with Taylors Training TAILS, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted our terms and conditions. Once you have completed your booking and accepted our terms and conditions, this will form your contract with Taylors Training TAILS.
COVID 19 AND SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • The safety of my clients, dogs and myself is paramount
  • Please let me know before your walk/121 session or class if you have been in close contact with anyone who tested positive for Covid 19 or you have tested positive for covid 19.  There is no right of deferral or refund when you cannot attend class for these reasons.
  • Should we go back into a lockdown situation, classes during this period will move online.
  • Should your class be moved online, there is no right of deferral or refund as the services are still being provided via an online means. Agreeing to our terms and conditions, you agree to online training where necessary.

Classes, Consultations and Training
  • Please keep your dog/puppy on a lead at all times
  • You are responsible for your dog’s/puppy’s behaviour at all times
  • Please pick up your dog/puppy
  • You must follow all instructions, including safety instructions, and only use equipment when advised.
  • A standard lead and collar/harness (not a retractable lead/ choke, prong, chain, etc.)
  • Our equipment is designed for dog use only. Taylors Training Tails takes no responsibility for loss or damage that may happen while the equipment is in use.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your dog is fit, well, behaviourally sound, and fully vaccinated. Your dog must not attend if suffering from any infectious disease that may be transmitted to another dog. If you are in doubt, please consult your veterinarian.
  • Unfortunately, they cannot attend class if your dog comes into season. You can participate as a spectator, allowing you to train at home. I am more than happy to offer discounted rates for missed classes.
  • Family members are welcome, no more than 2 with each dog/puppy. Children are welcome, but an adult must always accompany them. The rule of 2 still applies.
  • Try not to feed your dog their whole meal before you attend class. A light meal will be fine and help to keep your dog engaged.
  • The venue for training can be moved where deemed necessary
  • Your training package will be cancelled if you use multiple dog trainers with no refund offered, as this is a conflict of interest for me.

I am a reward-based dog trainer, so aversive training will not be allowed in class. I will guide you through the steps of positive reward-based training.

Advice
The information and any treatment suggested consist of Taylors Training TAILS  personal views and are based on the information given to Taylors Training TAILS  by the client or person responsible for the animal(s) and or Taylors Training TAILS  own conclusion resulting from personally gained evidence of the animal and the related behavioural problems.
Treatment plans, for the most part, will only be successful after a period of time. They require a good deal of patience. Taylors Training TAILS cannot guarantee this will work, as each animal is an individual case, nor is it possible to foresee any other problems arising due to the treatment. All programs are specific to a particular animal and should not be tested on other pets.
Taylors Training TAILS  encourages clients to contact their veterinarian before putting the actions into effect. If they are concerned. By booking Taylors Training TAILS  training services, you agree to these terms and conditions. No refund is available once booked and the first consultation has taken place. By booking, you will agree to keep the date and time. There needs to be a minimum of 48 hours’ notice given to amend the day/time of a consultation/training session.
Taylors Training TAILS  reserves the right to cancel or change an appointment at any time by notice with immediate effect, without cause.
